FAQ: Why are you closed for overseeding? What all is involved?
ANSWER: Overseeding is a process in which we literally “over seed” the grass. During the hot summer months, bermuda grass grows thick and strong. As the fall and winter weather comes, bermuda cannot grow so it lies dormant. In order to make this process smooth, we scalp the bermuda, seed in the rye, and water around the clock until we have grass. We give this process two full weeks, allowing the rye grass to mature ready for the new season of golfers.
